The weather is starting to warm up in Destin, FL; the pictures below are near the Crab trap on Crystal Beach. The sand is still chilly, but it was awful nice being on the beach again! Destin is best known as a summer destination for our beautiful white sandy beaches and clear emerald waters. However, Destin is turning into a winter destination as well. This winter season Destin Snowbirds had a record breaking year for membership; close to 2,000. The majority of members come from the US, however approximately 25% travel to Destin from Canada. The Snowbirds stay busy all winter with activities ranging from bowling, bridge, Biloxi casino trips and golf tournaments.
